Please don’t confuse or compare American Black with either European or worse, ‘African’ Walnut (for a start there is no such thing). They don’t look, perform or even feel the same, and for the one thing which adds the most definition to your kitchen you will be sorely disappointed. It’s not that European Walnut doesn’t have its place, but it simply isn’t a patch on American Black Walnut. Just as we advise for the Oak worktops, get a Walnut worktop sample – it’s only £2.50. Of all the worktops, Walnut is the one set to disappoint the most if it’s not the real deal. Just put our sample next to any other and that will do all the talking. Proper Walnut worktops are made from American Black Walnut.
We could ramble on about how beautiful the Walnut is, but honestly just order a sample and see for yourself. After all it would be tragic to order the wrong walnut worktops from the wrong company.
